P.Suneetha is a 17 years young girl. She has been brought to the ability people organisation because she is unable to walk and talk properly which are the symptoms of CP Quadriplegic.
She was unable to walk from her childhood and was noticed by her parents when she was 5 years.
She has gone through 2 leg surgeries with a gap of 5 years . Even after going through the operation the problem was not solved due to lack of physiotherapy exercises . Parents went around various hospitals seeking solutions for her physical conditions. As they came to know about the ARC they brought her to the ability people in Dec 12th 2016.
The child is unable to walk and stand and her parents used to carry her. They were using a wheelchair which was not able to meet her requirements. her parents used to transfer her from wheelchair to bed and vice versa . She always needed a support of 2 care givers in all her activities. So they had approached us , she was assessed and advised by the senior physiotherapist and orthotist seeking solutions about her physical condition .
She couldn’t come to the centre for regular therapy because her father P. Adinarayana used to be unwell as he is a heart patient.
So our therapist have advised them to take a special chair and had given bi-lateral cock up split and bi-lateral knee gaiters and has also thought exercises and positioning of the child with special chair and in lying position with adequate support . Due to financial issues they are unable to pay the cost for special care.
